Festive Party Time at Squires Garden Centre

It may have been cold outside, but it was toasty warm inside the Big Top at Squires Garden Centre in Washington thanks to a lively set by local band Bang Tidy who got everyone up and dancing to a wide variety of hits by artists as diverse as the Beatles, Elvis, Ed Sheeran and Abba, finishing off with a rendition of that old festive favourite, Slade’s “Merry Christmas Everyone”.

Prior to the gig, guests had been able to indulge in some late-night shopping, enjoy drinks and snacks in the café and buy raffle tickets, hoping to win one of the prizes generously donated by Squires.  A massive thank you to Chris Dartnell, drummer with Bang Tidy & Centre Manager, Leanne O’Hagan, Furniture Manager, and all of their colleagues at Squires for putting on such a great evening to raise funds for the Olive Tree.
