We are very pleased to be able to announce continued support from The Longley Trust who are a small grant giving trust supporting organisations helping people in Crawley. This is the third year The Longley Trust have chosen to support Olive Tree Cancer Support Group with a grant donation of £1,000 towards the core costs of our Support Centre in the grounds of Crawley Hospital.

We have been supporting those affected by cancer in Crawley and the surrounding areas for nearly 30 years and we are proud of our longevity. Our Support Centre is a warm and welcoming place where our services include the provision of suitable information, 1:1 counselling, coaching, group therapy, massage, acupuncture, EFT (Tapping), Pranic Healing, Reiki, Pilates, Art Therapy, VR Therapy and we even have a wig service!  This is not an exhaustive list, and our services are ever evolving.

New members are given the opportunity to discuss their support needs with the Manager, who may recommend a particular therapy. However, members are able to try several different therapies if they so choose. If the new member is a cancer patient, then the centre will undertake to seek assurances from the patients GP, Oncologist or Consultant before commencing ‘hands on’ therapy. All members are required to complete a health questionnaire before commencing ‘hands on’ therapy. To enquire about any of our services please contact the centre on 01293 534465

Once again we would like to thank The Longley Trust for their continued support from everyone here at Olive Tree. If you would like make you own donation please visit our donations page to find out how, or to become involved in fundraising or any of our volunteering opportunities please contact us.
